For now, here's a tutorial on how to colorize a greyscale painting using gradient maps, something I do quite often!

I only just stumbled across your profile now, and holy cow, I'm in love with your art! I love your use of colour, and your rendering capabilities have me captivated. Even your linework is so gorgeous! And everything is so imaginative too... gah, I could go on about how much I love it, but instead I'm going to go and try to scrape up some money so I can buy some prints. (I've never bought prints from DA before, this should be interesting).

Anywho, I also feel inspired, which is probably also worth mentioning. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. <3

Hey Bluefley! Not sure if you remember me from WCReplays.com (I went by aznmantis) but just wanted to know I've been learning a lot from your tutorials and incorporating that into my pieces. Thanks for making them, and keep up the awesome work!

Haha yeah, well it's awesome to see you get from those forums to where you are now. Truly inspiring! Definitely shows what hard work and determination does for you.

No problem on the delay - I get behind on messages too, and I can't blame you since you probably get 100x the amount I do. Appreciate the +watch! I'll try not to disappoint, though I've had less time to practice these days what with work and learning animation at the same time, haha.

As always, looking forward to more of your work!

Dude! I'm pretty sure everyone that's commenting on your profile is saying the same thing, but your videos are so awesome! They've helped me out so much with smoothing out my skin better and shading my clothes the right amount. I love to see people like you that are good at art actually helping out the community. A big thank you!

So you're the guy from the video right? Haha you really have a nice work and a top job that a lots of people desire, an awesome carrier. I just have one question (if you ever find a second to answer) - i've seen the way you draw and paint and you really rely on the photoshop tools, and I've just use avoid that, I try to paint the maximum without using any liquify, filters and other stuff because I guess this have something to do with the training and techniques, so what should I do? Use the tools and the painting or just using PS like a blank paper that only accept brush and ink? Is there a "correct" way, which one will help me to improve better?
