It was really helpful, thanks or sharing n.n
Just a quick question, how do you do separate parts of the painting so cleanly with only having one layer??

A Canadian astronaut? I'm sorry, but you can only go so far with sci-fi before it just becomes ridiculous.

Jk. I do have a noob question that I'm sure anyone could probably answer though.
I noticed on a lot of PS painting tutorials that there is a circular icon that appears over the cursor every once in a while that pops up when painting. It has a light shaded and a dark shaded half circle of whatever color you're painting with on the top and bottom of the icon. What exactly is that? I have PS cs5 and perhaps I don't have the add-on needed, or the right selection box clicked, but how do I get that feature?

Thanks, Marc. I haven't had time, yet, to chuck the DVD in and check it out. Deadlines are looming, again.

I love the process. It makes me understand that what you started initially doesn't need to end the same way you first drew it, and changes are needed when necessary. :) Would love to see more!

I thought it was awesome. I love watching an artist's process. I find it interesting that you work better by just hammering out the concept because you can't per-determine it. And I love the concept of "happy accidents." I will say though that by the time you get like 12 minuets in I would have personally saved it and call it my latest master piece because I can only dream of colouring that well and then you just keep going until it's amazing!! I watched some of your speed paints too and it was the same thing, half way through I would have been highly impressed with myself and then you keep doing until it's like *BAM* awesome.

Great tutorial and your voice is very easy to listen to - not a distraction like some peoples' commentaries can be. I look forward to seeing more =D
